At Cesame Street Academy of the Arts, we believe creativity is not a reward for learning. It is one of the most powerful ways children learn.
Rather than separating academics from the arts, we intentionally integrate music, movement, theatre, visual arts, and creative expression into every part of the school day. Children learn letters through songs, science through exploration, storytelling through drama, and confidence through performance.
We believe when children are encouraged to imagine, create, and express themselves, they become stronger learners, better communicators, and more confident individuals.
Arts are woven through the entire learning day -- not squeezed into a Friday afternoon time slot or treated as a reward.
We teach children to care about how they made something, not just how it turned out. That shift in attention is the real education.
A child who has performed on a stage, exhibited a painting, and led a movement sequence -- knows what they are capable of.
We encourage children to ask questions, experiment, and discover solutions rather than simply memorize answers.
We create an environment where every child feels seen, heard, and celebrated.
Learning continues beyond the classroom through strong communication and meaningful family involvement.
A Message from
the Founder
Welcome to Cesame Street Academy of the Arts! This Academy was created because we believe every child deserves a learning environment where creativity, curiosity, and confidence are celebrated every day.
Our arts-integrated approach goes beyond traditional preschool by using music, movement, visual arts, and dramatic play to inspire academic, social, and emotional growth.
The vision is for every child who walks through our doors to discover their unique gifts, develop a lifelong love of learning, and leave knowing they are capable of achieving anything.
We are honored to partner with your family and can't wait to watch your child learn, grow, and shine.
No. Our students simply need a willingness to participate, learn, and grow.
Ages 3 to 5.
Academy tuition follows the center's weekly rate table for your child's age. Eligible families may receive an enrollment fee waiver.
Every family starts with a tour, then submits an application. Each application receives a decision: acceptance, waitlist, or denial -- then accepted families complete enrollment.
These details depend on the current enrollment cycle and the first-year calendar, which is being finalized. Ask at your tour and we'll give you current answers.
Every graduate receives
a formal portfolio.
Not a participation certificate. A credential -- an official, faculty-attested record of your child's creative and social-emotional development across all five disciplines.
Applications for private schools, arts magnets, and gifted programs are stronger when backed by documented history. Your child's history begins here, as early as age three.
Flip through the preview. This is what your child carries into every future application, every audition, every opportunity.
Five disciplines. One child.
Every Academy student experiences all five disciplines -- not as separate subjects, but as connected ways of knowing the world.
Beat, melody, and voice -- children discover music is a language their body already knows. Listening skills and joyful expression develop hand in hand.
Structured movement teaches children how their body occupies space and communicates ideas. Coordination and confidence grow side by side.
Drawing, painting, collage, and sculpture give children a language beyond words. They learn to observe carefully and be proud of what they make.
Storytelling, role play, and performance build empathy, vocabulary, and nerve. Children learn to inhabit another perspective and to command a room.
Every discipline is a pathway to self-knowledge. Children learn to name what they feel, navigate conflict, and build real connections.
Is the Academy the right fit
for your family?
The Academy of the Arts is designed for curious, imaginative children who love to explore, create, perform, and express themselves.
Our students don't need previous artistic experience. They simply need a willingness to participate, learn, and grow.
